It is a wonderful place which the friendly owners have chosen for their two holiday apartments: in the midst of nature, surrounded by lush green and olive trees, Villa Mimosa’s deep yellow façade shines from the hills of Ricadi.
From here, you have got a fantastic panoramic view of the sea at Santa Maria di Ricadi as well as Calabria’s and Sicily’s coastlines. On days of good visibility, the Aeolian Islands of Stromboli, Panarea, Vulcano and Lipari are clearly discernable, too.
Those who love to take a plunge into the water right after getting up in the morning will surely welcome the 4 x 8 metres pool. The sea, however, is not far either: the nearest beach is only about 2.5 kilometres off. Shopping facilities are to be found in the centre of Ricadi, 500 metres off.
Villa Mimosa was built in 2008 and houses the two holiday apartments „Girasole“ and „Papavero“.„Girasole“ is located in the part of the villa which faces the sea, from the terrace of holiday apartment „Papavero“ you have got lateral sea view. The house of the owners, who will gladly provide advice during your stay if desired, is located above the ca. 1500 m² premises of Villa Mimosa.

The owners have furnished and decorated their two holiday apartments with pool in Calabria in a tasteful manner. The layout and furnishing of the apartments are identical, except for the decoration. Each holiday apartment, „Girasole“ as well as „Papavero“, offers a ca. 16 m² roofed terrace, a place to simply unwind.
Both apartments offer about 40 m² of living space. Upon entering, you will find the cosy kitchen-cum-living room, which is equipped, among other things, with a full oven. The sofa bed can be used as a sleeping facility for a 3rd and 4th person.
The furnishing of the double bedroom echoes the apartment’s name, as does the apartment as a whole: „Girasole“ („sun flower“) is kept in radiant yellow and orange, while „Papavero“ („poppy“) is dominated by red. The bathroom is equipped with shower, WC and bidet.
Furthermore, „Girasole“ as well as „Papavero“ offer Sat-TV with foreign channels and W-LAN (costs for the use of W-LAN for the entire stay: 10 Euro - charged on the spot). The washing machine, the outdoor shower and the barbecue of Villa Mimosa are for shared use.
You can park your car on the fenced premises of the villa.
