At the most northern tongue of the Capo Vaticano between Briatico and Parghelia stretches a marvellously beautiful coastal area: broad and long beaches are interrupted by tuff stone riffs from time to time.

The splendidly white sand underlines the blue transparency of the sea. And on the horizon the Aeolian Islands seem to be within grasp.

Amazed by these natural beauties the Zappino family has created their holiday domicile in exposed location on a hill overgrown by macchia – halfway between Marina di Zambrone and the mountain village of Zambrone.

From Villa Zappino, which has been completed in 2006, you are offered a phenomenal 180° panoramic view, which reaches all the way to Tropea enthroned on a rock face in the south. The highlight: Stromboli, Vulcano, Lipari, Panarea, Alicudi and Filicudi – the Aeolian Islands, especially beautiful in the evening light.

Villa Zappino houses nine holiday apartments apart from the two summer residences of the owners. We have chosen for you the holiday apartments Thea, Eugenio and Stromboli – all with frontal sea view.

The holiday apartment Dolce Vita (max. 3 pers.) is located on the first floor of the villa. It is suited for a couple or a small family, which likes to have a lot of space. Because it offers additionally to a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower/bidet/WC a very spacious and tastefully furnished living/dining room (sleeping couch for a possible 3rd person, TV). A modern built-in kitchen with counter is adjoining openly. From the paned dining area and from the roofed balcony you have a marvellous sea view.

The holiday apartment Stromboli (2-3 pers.) is located on the ground floor of the house. A 25 sqm terrace with sea view invites you to linger. There is hardly anything better than watching the sun disappearing behind the sea while having a glass of wine – in the background the Aeolian Islands with the island of Stromboli. Also from the bedroom (with double bed) you enjoy the view of the blue sea. The bright eat-in-kitchen is equipped with satellite TV, the bedroom with shower/bidet/WC.

The holiday apartment Eugenio (max. 4 pers.) on the second floor is furnished with two double rooms (double bed and twin beds), bathroom with shower/bidet/WC and a kitchen-cum-living room with modern built-in kitchen and TV. The kitchen-cum-living room also has a wide paned façade with sea view. From the L-shaped balcony of the apartment you enjoy the view upon the sea and Tropea. When then the Aeolian Islands “emerge from the sea” like pearls on a string, the holiday happiness is picture perfect.

Holiday apartment Panorama (max. 4 pers.) is located on the ground floor. The two bedrooms are equipped with a double bed each, the spacious bathroom with shower/bidet/WC. The tastefully furnished kitchen-cim-living-room gives access to the seaview terrace running along the whole apartment.

You may park your car directly in front of the villa on the 2500 sqm property.

The proprietor will gladly provide a rental car in the months of June, July, August and September which you can pick up directly at the airport Lamezia Terme. Concerning car rental please contact our office before you leave for your vacation.

The wide sandy beach called “il Paradiso del Sub” at Marina di Zambrone is reached within ca. 1.5 km. The “Acquapark” of Marina di Zambrone with diversified water games for “young and old” is famous beyond the area.

Grocery stores, restaurants, cash dispenser, pharmacy etc. are found in the main village of Zambrone, about 1 km from the house. The distances to Tropea and Briatico are 9 and 7 km, respectively.

Weekly prices fot the holiday apartments are valid for the number of persons given in brackets and incl. bed linen, towels and final cleaning. Possible costs for heating (Eugenio, Panorama, Stromboli: electric heating fans and/or little gas stoves; Dolce Vita: central heating) will be charged on the spot at cost price.
A deposit of 100 Euro is due upon arrival.

* For a possible 3rd person a supplement of 25 Euro/week will be charged.
