300 days of sunshine at Capo Vaticano

All year round, visitors to and vacationers at Capo Vaticano can look forward to a Mediterranean climate. Not even in the coldest month of the year do temperatures fall below 13o C, in summer average temperatures lie with 26o C. 300 days of sunshine per year provide for a fair weather guarantee without equal. Due to the winds from the sea, even higher temperatures during the summer season are not felt to be unpleasant.

Swimming in the emerald green sea from May to November

Even at the end of October, average sea water temperatures lie, for the most part, around 23o C. Tropea is famous for its crystal clear sea water and its white beaches. All along the cape, fine sandy beaches and charming bays make beach and bathing holidays a delight.

The coastal landscape at Capo Vaticano, which counts among the most beautiful in Calabria and Southern Italy, is defined by olive, lemon and fruit trees.

Vegetation in Italy's beautiful south

Calabria is rich in trees, with partly centuries-old beech and pine forests. Palm trees, cactuses, agaves, opuntias, pine, olive, lemon and orange as well as eucalyptus trees prosper in the coastal regions.

A large number of colorful flowers top off this landscape of turquoise colored sea, blue sky and colorful vegetation.

Holidays in Calabria are a pleasure and a treat for your senses!
