Casa Punta Safò is equipped with air conditioning and portable fans as well as central heating, and therefore offers best conditions and comfort in any kind of weather and at any time of the year. 

A small workstation is set up and at your disposal in a separate room. As WiFi is of course available, you can also spend 'working holidays' in Calabria.  

Rocky cliffs and bright sandy beaches

Between Briatico and Parghelia lies an enchanting coastal stretch where picturesque rocky cliffs meet bright sandy beaches. The small town of Briatico is known for its round about 800 m of public beach, where you can take it easy and in between stop at one of the bars there for refreshments. 

About 400 m from Casa Punta Safò, there's a restaurant called "La Torretta". A supermarket and the center of Briatico are ca. 1.5 km from the accommodation.

The cave dwellings of Zungri

They are only about 13 km from Briatico and worth a closer look - Zungri and its famous grottos. The 'rock/cave settlement' of Zungri developed between the 12th and 14th centuries. On a tour of the site, you get to discover round about 80 dwellings dug into the soft sandstone a long time ago.

The nearest train station is at Zambrone.
