Casa Il Gelsomino is laid out for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment includes a well-appointed live-and-eat-in kitchen (incl. modern induction cooktop), where a sofa (bed) provides additional sleeping facility, a bedroom (double bed) and two bathrooms (shower/WC/bidet, hair dryer each).
The live-and-eat-in kitchen opens onto a small terrace, which is furnished with a bench and a table.

Casa Il Gelsomino also features air conditioning with heating device, TV in the bedroom and free WiFi.

Parking: Public parking spaces are found approx. 400 m off, on the edge of the centro storico.

Above the rooftops of Tropea

Casa Il Gelsomino's terrace is a lovely spot, but at any time during your stay, you can also use the palazzo's beautiful roof terrace (shared by the apartments and the guest room), from where you have got a marvelous view of the sea and the surrounding rooftops of the town.

The spacious roof terrace, where you can spend morning, noon and evening hours with a view of the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia, is accessible from the 4th floor of the palazzo and comfortably furnished with tables, chairs, deck chairs and sunshade.

If you do not plan on any far excursions, you can manage quite well without a car. Train connections to the towns worth visiting around Tropea are good and Tropea's train station is within easy walking distance.

The nearest shopping facilities, cafés, bars and restaurants are only a short walk from the accommodation.

Give in to the dolce vita while strolling, delicious ice cream in hand, through the picturesque alleys of Tropea. Settle down in the sun at one of the many small bars or in the piazza and watch the colorful buzz of activity. 

By the way: Michele, landlord of the apartment, produces an excellent local olive oil. Do ask him about it! Combined with fresh ingredients from the weekly market it is a culinary delight.

Take a boat trip to the Aeolian Islands or stop by the small town of Scilla, also know as the "Venice of the South" - you will find them to be interesting destinations.

Explore Calabria's mainly untouched hinterland with its impressive mountain landscape - you will find it to be worth your while.

Go on a discovery tour of small bays, some only accessible by boat, along the breathtaking steep coast of Capo Vaticano - you will be surprised.
