Casa La Vela is located on the 1st floor of a historic and typically local palazzo in the heart of the hip town of Tropea. The sea and the almost white sandy beaches can be easily reached on foot.

After a stroll through the town's beautiful alleys, guest staying at ca. 40 m² holiday apartment Casa La Vela can take a break and relax on the large roof terrace on the 4th floor of the palazzo. 
From the comfortably furnished roof terrace, which is shared with the guests of the other holiday apartments in the building, your gaze roams over the town's rooftops towards the sea.

- a cozy living room, which opens onto a French balcony and is furnished with a dining area for four, a sofa, which may serve as a sleeping facility for a child, TV and air conditioning;

- a small kitchen, which, in spite of its compact size, offers the most important amenities, amongst others induction cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine;

- a modern bathroom with rain shower, WC, a spacious chest of drawers and hair dryer.

Ideal for train travelers

Tropea is a perfect place for train travelers. The small train station is located just outside the Old Town and can be reached on foot from Casa La Vela. Many of the surrounding towns, one of them, for example, Pizzo, can also be reached by train.

Should you be traveling to Tropea by car, you will, in general, find chargeable parking outside the Old Town (during low season parking is easier to find than during high season). The Old Town is off limits to cars, only permanent residents have got a permit to drive there.

Exploring the Old Town on foot

Tropea's Old Town and sights as well as the beach are within easy walking distance of Casa La Vela. Bars, stores and restaurants are also found in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation.
