Given its location, Casa Luna is a good choice for holidays at Tropea. You get to experience the Mediterranean atmosphere of this unique coastal town up close, yet you are only 200 m from the white sandy beach it is so well-known for. 

Charming holiday apartment Casa Luna

Casa Luna, renovated not too many years ago, is airy and bright and remarkable for its comfort and modern ambience.

The apartment includes a spacious living-dining room with French balcony, from where you have got a view into Tropea’s narrow and winding alleys. From the dining area you enter the small, but modern kitchen, which is equipped with everything you need to prepare Calabrian delicacies.

The spacious bedroom is furnished with a double bed; the bathroom is equipped with shower/WC. A sofa bed offers sleeping facility for a possible 3rd person or two children up to age 12.

Air conditioning with heating system provides for pleasant room temperatures all year round. Casa Luna can therefore be recommended for a stay also during the cooler months of the year.

Parking: There's a parking lot about 400 m off. To unload and load your luggage you can, however, drive into the Old Town and pull up not too far from Casa Luna, i.e. Palazzo Cesareo.

Let's say, for example, you don't want to go out, but would still love to enjoy a glass of wine out in the open at sunset. The palazzo has got a large, comfortably furnished sea view roof terrace you can use at any time during your stay at Casa Luna.
The terrace is shared by the holiday apartments and the guest room.

Further information

If you do not plan on any far excursions, you can manage quite well without a car. Train connections to the towns worth visiting around Tropea are good and Tropea's train station is within easy walking distance. 

The nearest shopping facilities, cafés, bars and restaurants are only a short walk from Casa Luna.

Give in to the dolce vita while strolling, delicous ice cream in hand, through the picturesque alleys of Tropea. Settle down in the sun at one of the many small bars or in the piazza and watch the colorful buzz of activity.

By the way: Michele, landlord of Casa Luna, produces an excellent, local olive oil. Do ask him about it! Combined with fresh ingredients from the weekly market it is a culinary delight.

Take a boat trip to the Aeolian Islands or stop by the small town of Scilla, also known as the "Venice of the South" - you will find them to be interesting destinations.

Go on a discovery tour of small bays, some accessible only by boat, along the breathtaking steep coast of Capo Vaticano - you will be surprised.
