„La vista al mare è uno spettacolo“ - "the sea view is a spectacle": It is with these words that the owner starts his description of holiday apartment Villa Lipari, which is named for one of the offshore Aeolian Islands. And he is right: The terrace offers a truly marvellous view across the shimmering turquoise blue of the sea so well-known for Calabria.
The cosy apartment for four persons is found in unique location on the slopes of Calabria's hilly landscape between Zambrone and the sea.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a two-unit house. It includes a modern kitchen-cum-living room with sofa bed for the third and fourth persons, SAT-TV, dining table and kitchenette (4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment).
The nice bedroom is equipped with a double bed and offers access of a walk-in closet.
The bathroom is equipped with shower cabin, WC and bidet.
The terrace which is accessible from the kitchen-cum-living room is furnished with garden furniture, deck chairs and a sun shade.
There are, for common use with the guests of the neighbouring house located somewhat below the villa, various seating accommodations in the garden, two outdoor showers, a brick barbecue and, inside the house, there is a washing machine, also for common use.
You can park your car directly in front of the villa on the 2,500 m² premises.
During the months of June, July, August and September, you can rent a car from the owner and pick it up directly at Lamezia Terme airport.

The wide sandy beach of „Il Paradiso del Sub“ at Marina di Zambrone (Calabria) is about 1.5 km from your holiday home. Marina di Zambrone's "Acquapark" with its varied water games for the "young and young at heart" is well-known far beyond the area.
Grocery stores, restaurants, cashpoint, pharmacy, etc. are to be found at the main town of Zambrone about 1 km off. Tropea (Calabria) and Briatico (Calabria) are 9 and 7 km off, respectively.
Nearest train station: Zambrone.
It is only about 8 km to Zungri and its famous grottos. The "cave town" of Zungri came into being in Byzantine times and was inhabited far into the 14th century. Christian monks sought refuge there from Musselmen. You can go on an exciting discovery tour of the round about 80 dwellings dug into the soft sandstone a long time ago.
